New Yorkot az “Álmok Városaként”, de a soha nem alvó városként is szokták emlegetni. New York tipikusan az ‘urban chic’ (≈városi stílus) városa, ahol egyszerre van jelen a ‘high fashion’ vonulat és a jellegzetes egyedi utcai divat is. Azért választottam ezt a sapkát a Fanatics oldaláról, mert az a szempont eleve kiesett , hogy én melyik csapatnak szurkolok, egyáltalán nem nézek baseballt sőt semmilyen sportot, max az Olimpiát néha tekintve hogy ha az van, nem tudod elkerülni, hogy ne nézd. Szóval inkább a városok alapján választottam, úgy meg egyértelműen New York. Ebben a sapiban a kis csillámokkal benne van a high fashion csillogása, de a tipikus street style lazasága és variálhatósága is. A pulcsira is most akadtam rá, amin Marilyn Monroe van egy lufival és rögtön megtetszett… És hogy kicsit kevésbé legyen sportos a szett, egy magas derekú, bőr hatású szoknyát választottam hozzá.

New York is often called ‘the City of Dreams’ or ‘The City That Never Sleeps’. New York is also the city of urban chic. In this big city you can find the high fashion houses next to the unique street style bloggers. So basically you have everything in NYC. That’s why I chose this beanie from the selection of MLB hats on Fanatics. I couldn’t choose by the team I like, because honestly, I don’t really watch baseball nor any sport events. Only the Olympics, but at Olympics-time you simply can’t avoid watching it. So I chose by the cities – and thus clearly New York was my choice. On this hat there are a few glitters, that show the bright and luxury part of NYC but the shape of the hat and the possiblility to wear it in many ways and styles reminds me of the street style pople of the city. This jacket is my other favorite, with the Marilyn Monroe portrait. To make it less sporty, I combined it with a high waisted leather skirt and a pink crop top.

Fly Me to the Moon

Imádom ezt a ruhát, bár már sajnos kezd rövid lenni pedig még csak ősz elején vettük. A nyakláncot egyébként még egy nyereményjátékon nyertem a Fércművektől, egy lufit ábrázol, és a hátuljára az van írva, hogy “fly me to the moon…” És nagyon puha anyaga is van, amit szintén imádok benne. Télen olyan nehéz outfitet fotózni… a) korán sötétedik (beltérből meg kizavarnak) b) hideg van. Szóval ilyenkor általában úgy van, hogy gyorsan leveszem a kabátomat, lövünk 3 képet, visszaveszem, megnézem a képeket. És ez a folyamat megy sokáig egymás után, amíg elégedett nem leszek velük :)). De mi van, ha pont az a kép tetszik, ahol rajtam van a kabátom? Ez történt az elsőnél. Persze ha lenne 40 kabátom, minden egyszerűbb lenne, de ez nyilván nem reális opció. Szóval össze kell szorítani a fogamat és kibírni a hideget. De azért közben mosolyogni.

I love this dress soo much, but I sadly noticed that it’s getting shorter, and we only bought in September. I won a giveaway a long time ago where the winner got this cute balloon shaped necklace from Fércművek which has the quote “fly me to the moon…” on its back side. And the material of it is so good too, I could caress it all day. It’s so hard to go photoshooting in the winter… a) because it gets dark early (and inside buildings it’s usually forbidden to take photos) b) it’s sooo cold. I am freezing all the time, so a winter photoshoot goes like this: I take off my coat quickly, then we take 3 pics, take my coat on, watch the pics. And this goes until I’m satisfied with at least 6 photos. It would be so much easier if I had 40 coats, but I only have 1. So I have to clentch my teeth and survive the cold weather. And just keep smiling.

Halloween: food, fashion, decoration

Ahogy már említtettem, idén extra hosszú Halloween volt nekem, szépen is sikerült feldíszíteni a szobámat és a sütéssel sem kellett kapkodni. A gardróbszekrényt teljes egészében lefedtük lepedővel, és denevéreket ragasztottunk rá, csakúgy mint az ablakra és a könyvespolcra. Nagyon jól néz ki és valahogy pont a tankönyves polcot ragasztottuk le úgyhogy ‘sajnos’ nem hiszem hogy tudok tanulni a hétvégén. És sajnos azt sem hiszem hogy a tanárok elfogadják ezt az indokot, amiért nincs házim. Az ágyam fölé letépett Barbie lábakat és fejeket raktunk, a lámpára pedig régi kazettáknak a belsejét. Csokis muffint is készítettünk, persze porból. A keksz is nagyon finom lett és az elkészítése is nagyon egyszerű volt, amivel bajlódtunk az a fondant volt. Legalábbis próbált lenni. Találtunk egy receptet, miszerint pillecukrot kell megolvasztani majd porcukorral összekeverni, addig amíg nyújtható nem lesz. Hát nekünk úgy ragadt, hogy inkább feladtuk és olvasztottunk csokit, a pillecukros löttyöt pedig felhasználtuk a bátorságpróbánál. Sminkek terén rengeteg ötletünk volt, ezért napi többet is készítettünk. A ruhákat a Romwe oldaláról válogattam, ahol hatalmas Halloween-i leértékelések vannak, remek ruhákkal. Az a denevérszárnyas hátizsák pedig egyszerűen ♥.

As I already mentioned this year Halloween was extra long for me. We decorated my room carefully and we didn’t have to worry about the cooking stuff too. We stuck a sheet on my wardrobe and cut bats on it from black paper. We did the same to the window and my bed. Some bookshelves became covered too, accidentally the one with my school books and notebooks so ‘sadly’ I couldn’t study this weekend. But I don’t think my teachers will accept this reason why I don’t have my homework. We also pushed Barbie heads and legs in the grid above my bed and hung old tapes on my lamp.
We made muffins -of course from powder- and biscuits. We didn’t have any problem with that but making the fondant was a mess. I found a recipe which said we should melt marshmallows and mix it with icing sugar. It didn’t work so we used the ugly fluid at the courage test and melted chocolate instead. We had a lot of fun painting each other, Lena even left her makeup on her face in the city. I found these clothes on Romwe’s site, they are totally awesome and creepy styled. An that backpack with bat wings, awww ♥.

Don’t call me so late

Annyi Tenczerszofi ékszert kaptam, hogy még mindig nem értem a végére a bemutatásukkal. Ezt a nyakláncot úgy emlékszem én választottam, de lehet hogy a piros telefont, olyan régen volt… Valamiért úgy éreztem, hogy ez a kardigán akkor tud jól érvényesülni, ha sötét a háttér, ezért fotóztunk este felé. Nagyon sokat kísérleteztünk a hosszú exponálási idővel, és nekem nagyon megtetszettek az így született képek, szerintem művésziek. A végén már direkt emelgettem a kezeimet, meg forogtam, hogy ilyen képeket kapjunk, ezért szerintem több jobb lett ilyen fajából, mint “normálisból”. Végülis mindegy, az outfit így is úgy is látszódik.

I got so many Tenczerszofi jewelry that I it takes so long to show you all. I think this was the one chosen by me, but maybe the red, bigger phone. I can’t remember. For this outfit I imagined a totally dark background, because I thought this cardigan can only prevail in dark. We were experimenting a lot with the long exponation time. I found these pics artistic. So at the end I tried to move, and lift my arms. It doesn’t matter that it’s blurred, the outfit is seeable and that’s the only important.

Only Hate The Road When You’re Missin’ Home

Ezek a képek nekem szabadságot, kicsit elhagyatottságot, lazaságot jelentenek. A háttér a természet és a kicsit lepusztultabb lépcső, szebb napokat is látott épület. A fekete skater szoknya az új kocás ingem és a kedvenc ezüst pulcsim remekül kiegészítik egymást. Kiegészítő nincs, csak dupla fülbevaló és bakancsok.

I feel freedom, a little lonelyness but awesomness too, when I look at these photos. The road between nature and this abandoned building is perfect for this set. The simplest must-have black skater skirt, the other basic: checked blouse and the forever favorite silver sweater. No necklace, no bracelets, but braces and double earrings. And of course my burgundy boots.

Ez az a szoknya amit még az augusztusi tanfolyamon varrtam, kicsit elegánsabb, téliesebb darab. Nem volt különösen nehéz az elkészítése, de a derék részén sokat lehetett tanulni. Amikor kiválasztottam a következő outfithez felpróbáltam hozzá a pöttyös pólómat, de még mindig kicsit komornak, öregesebbnek éreztem az összhatást pedig akkor már a bakancs is rajtam volt. Gondoltam nem baj, kell ilyen is, kicsit kilépni a komfortzónámból. Amikor indultunk, megláttam az előszobában a farmer dzsekimet és éreztem, hogy ez még muszáj lesz hozzá. Így abszolút más stílusa lett az outfitnek, sokkal jobban érzem az enyémnek.

This skirt is a pretty elegant one which I have sewn on the sewing course back in August. It wasn’t the hardest piece I’ve ever done, but the waist part taught me many small techniques. When I chose this skirt for the next outfit, first I tried it on with my dotted blouse and bootes but it looked too classy, made me look older. I couldn’t feel it mine. Then I thought okay, maybe it’s not bad if I try out different styles which are far from mine. But when I saw my ripped denim jacket hanging in the antechamber I knew that was the piece I was looking for. It totally changed the mood of this outfit and I feel more comfortable in it.

Uhrrr Ahhhrrr Muhahahaa

Ez egy igazi városi outfit, laza skater szoknyával és vászontáskával. A Vanilin Cukrászda előtt fotóztunk, ahova persze betértünk macaronért. Itt nincs olyan nagy választék és olyan különleges ízkombinációk, mint egy Sugar shopban, de amik vannak, finomak. A táskámon egy rendkívül értelmes Chewbacca idézet van, de nekem tetszik hogy azt értesz bele amit csak akarsz. Most például valami olyasmit mondhat hogy “Ahhhrrr ne már hogy én nem kapok macaront uhhhrrr ”

A fekete ruhák viselése egyébként sosem lehet rossz döntés, idén télen pedig még stílusosabbnak számítanak a tetőtől-talpig fekete outfitek. Főleg olyankor jön jól ez a trend amikor reggel hulla fáradtan előkapod az alapdarabokat a szekrényből, fekete felső, kardigán, egy szakadt farmer és a fekete bakancsod. Nálam ez hétköznapokon elég gyakran előfordul, észre is vettem magamon hogy leginkább sötét darabokat, szürkét és bordót hordok.

This is a real urban outfit with skater skirt and canvas bag. We took these pictures at the Vanilin confectionery, where we stopped for macarons. They haven’t got as many and unique flavored ones like the Sugar shop but these are delicious too. On my bag you can see an extremely meaningful quote by Chewbacca, but I like it because you can imagine anything in this sentence. In this situation I think Chewbacca would say something like this: “Ahhhrrr I can’t believe I’m not getting any macarons, uhhrrr ”

Wearing black clothes is never a bad choice, especially this winter it’s super trendy to wear black from head to toe. This is a very useful trend when you just get out of bed in the morning and you pick out your basic pieces from your closet, your black tee, cardigan, ripped jeans and black boots. This happens to me almost every workday, and I already realized that my most worn colors are the shades of black, greys and burgundy.

Choupette

Ismét az egyik Tenczerszofi darabomat mutatom be nektek, mégpedig ezt a cicás nyakláncot. Mivel kutyusom van én inkább ‘kutyás’ vagyok, de a cicákat is szeretem, főleg az ilyen aranyosakat. Ez a nyaklánc egyébként tökéletesen illene Karl Lagerfeld új kapszula kollekciójába, amihez macskája, Choupette modellkedett. A skater szoknyámmal és farmeringemmel kombináltam, így kicsit ‘lazább’ hatást keltve. Milyen jó lenne azt mondani, hogy a cipőm pedig mondjuk leopárd vagy párducmintás, de sajnos a zebra nem igazán nevezhető nagy macskának…

Again I’m showing you a Tenczerszofi piece, this kitty one. I like dogs more, but I like cats too, especially the cute plastic white ones. I think this necklace would perfectly fit into Karl Lagerfeld’s new capsule collection inspired by his cat, Choupette. I combined this jewelry with my skater skirt and my denim shirt for a more loose result. It would be good to say that my shoes are leopard or cheetah patterned too, but you can’t call zebras ‘big cats’…

Breaking Walls

Kutyasétáltatásnál egyszercsak rátaláltam erre a falra, és tudtam hogy fotóznunk kell. Nem igazán vagyok annak híve hogy a blogomon mást viseljek, olyat amit amúgy nem vennék fel, szóval maradt rajtam ugyanaz az összeállítás amit eredetileg viseltem, egyszerű póló-farmer. Egyébként ezt a pólót nyertem a Romwe nyeremnyjátékában még a Valentin-napi kollekcióból.

I went for a walk with my doggie and when I saw this wall and I knew that we had to take a few pics here. I’m not into the theory that blogging is soo different than real life to wear outfits that you wouldn’t on the streets. So I haven’t gotten my clothes changed just took some photos in very casual t-shirt and jeans. BTW I won this tee on a Romwe giveaway from the Valentin’s day collection.

Prugasti More

Ezt a ruhát 3 éve vettük Dubrovnikban, akkor még hatalmas volt rám, de valahogy éreztem hogy kell nekem. Igazából tipikus “nyaralós ruha” csak tengerparton hordom, nincs nagyon kihasználva. Aki volt már Dubrovnikban tudja, hogy a történelmi városközpont boltocskáiban csak és kizárólag csíkos dolgokat lehet kapni. A tengerben fotóztunk, Split mellett. Splitben egyébként felmentünk a toronyba (onnan van ez a kép) , iszonyatosan fújt a szél úgyhogy tanulság hogy szélben toronyban mászkálni nem szoknyában kell. :))

We bought this dress 3 years ago in Dubrovnik. Those who have ever been to this city know that the historical center is full of striped clothes. Actually you can’t buy not striped ones here. When I got this it was huge for me but now it’s perfect. This is a tipical ‘summer dress’ I only wear it for 2 weeks a year when we go to the seaside with my family. The photos were taken in Split and in the sea. In Split we climbed up to a tower and the wind was very strong. I’m never going to wear skirts or dresses on windy days in a tower. :))
