For the finale of the Gomdold Ujra! three times as many people came in and everyone tried to find their seats. We had ours and everything was great until my mobile vibrated which meant that our pizza was delivered. We ordered it in the previous break and we thought it was perfect that it had arrived, we could go out for it before the show started. So we ran to the entrance and got our pizza. We went back but the cordons were closed so we couldn’t get in and we weren’t the only ones who stuck outside there were a big crowd and since we’re both not very tall (especially me) we went out and sat on the sofa and watched the happening from the TV. The experience was full this way too :))

Összesen 19 pályamű jutott be a döntőbe, ezek között voltak kiegészítő kategóriások is. A showt Mihalik Enikő nyitotta és zárta, a kettő között pedig a cseh, szlovák, lengyel és magyar tervezők mini kollekció voltak a kifutón. Én nem fogok mindenkiről írni most, csak néhányról, meg persze a nyertesekről.

There were 19 designers who got in the final , but there were a few in the accessories category. The beautiul Hungarian model, Eniko Mihalik started and ended the show and between her two appearances we saw Polish, Czech, Slovak and Hungarian young designers’ mini collections.

1. Antonina Zablotoska

Nekem nagyon tetszettek a cseh tervező ruhái, és nagyon cuki, hogy magyar ihletésű ruhákat, pontosabban a Parlament inspirálta darabokat tervezett. Mármint igen, ez a lényeg hogy a visegrádi országok valamelyikéből inspirálódj és egy csomó magyar tervező szedte az ötletet külföldről, de valahogy tetszik, hogy őt Magyarország inspirálta.

I really liked her work, and I think she was cute because she was inspired by the Parliament of Hungary. OK, I know the point was to get inspired by one of the Central European countries but I still like her because of this.

2. Varga Edina

Őt egy lengyel festő inspirálta a férfikollekciójához, ami, hát hogy is mondjam, lehet hogy én vagyok csak túl konzervatív, de nekem túl színes, de nincs olyan ember akin ezeket eltudnám képzelni. Oké, a modell srácoknak jól áll, de nekik mi nem áll jól? :))

She was inspired by a Polish painter when she designed this collection for men. Maybe the problem is with me, I’m too conservative but this is too much colors and prints on a woman even on a man. OK, it looks good on these model guys, but what wouldn’t? 

3. Vörös Gyöngyi

Őt a sziklák, hegyek inspirálták és ebből létre tudott hozni egy átlagosnak tekinthető kollekciót. Nem volt szerintem sem nagyon kiemelkedő, de nem is mondom rá azt, hogy na ez az amit soha nem vennék fel. Olyan fél óra múlva már nem is nagyon emlékszel rá de azért elmegy egy stílusos, városi nő ruhatárában.

The mountains and rocks were what inspired the designer to create this usual collection. I think there’s nothing ‘extra’ in it, I can’t find any personality either but I’m not saying I wouldn’t wear it. It’d fit in an urban, stylish middle-aged woman’s wardrobe.

4. Vecsei Zsófia

Ő kiegészítő kategóriában indult Marie Curie ihlette fejfedőivel. Engem mondjuk a fő darab jobban emlékeztet egy karfiolra mint atomokra, de lehet hogy nem jöttem még eléggé bele a fizikába. Viszont a sötétszürke gömbnyomatokkal díszített karikájú darab kifejezetten tetszett.

She played in the accessories category with her hats inspired by Marie Curie. I see more a cauliflower in the middle one than atoms, but maybe just because we only stared learning physics this year. But the dark grey one, with a big flange that has sphere prints in it is my favorite.

5. November (Szenteczki Boldizsár, Schütz Nikolett, Hársfalvi Réka)

Ők nyerték a magyar tervezőnek járó díjat. Ezek a tetőtől-talpig beöltözött modellek forradalmárokat akarnak ábrázolni, bár szerintem jobban hasonlítanak egy csapat nindzsára, mintsem Lengyelországot felszabadítani próbáló harcosokra. Bár nekem még mindig jobban bejön a csupa fekete, mint a 628 féle színű kollekció.

They are one of the winners. The judges really liked the freedom fighters of the Velvet Revolution in Poland, but to me these head to toe black clothes look more like ninjas. I still like these black ones than the 628 different colored ones.

6. Tóth Eszter, Tasnádi Katalin

Ők is kiegészítő kategóriában indultak, és nálam abszolút be is futottak. Szerintem nagyon egyedit alkottak, olyat amire jól lehet építeni, szóval ha én lennék a zsűri, nálam biztosan ők nyertek volna ebben.

These were the most interesting accessories on the whole show. They created something absolutely unique, something they can easily build their label on. In my competition they’d totally be the winners.

7. Szécsi Tamás, Balázs Viola

Ezek a reggeli konyhás sálak nyerték a legjobb kiegészítőknek járó fődíjat. A showjuk jól meg volt tervezve, hogy visszamentek és utána palástként maguk fölé emelték és végigvonultak még egyszer a kifutón. Igazából nekem tetszenek és itthon ahogy nézegetem a ‘pretty past’ magazinban a terveit, már látom is, hogy mi van rajtuk.

These breakfast scarves won the prize of the accessories category. Their show was really well planned, how they picked up the scarfes and walked around on the runway again. There on the TV I couldn’ actually see what the patterns were on the scarves, but now, as I’m scrolling the ‘pretty past’ magazine I can finally figure out what it shows.

8. Jani Zsuzsanna

Őt a prágai sörök ihletté. Nekem ebből a kollekcióból egyedül az az arany metálos szoknya tetszik, de az nagyon-nagyon. Nekem hiányzik belőle az a nagyon eredeti, saját stílusa a tervezőnek, ami megvan a többi kollekcióban.

She was inpired by the beers in Prague. From this collection I can’t really see the designer’s style, personality and in a competition I think that’s not really good. I’m missing that unique pattern or cut that every other collection has. But the golden metal skirt, aww, absolut favorite piece from the whole final.

9. Györök Borbála

Mi ezt a kollekciót egyszerűen imádtuk. Abszolút látszik benne, milyen irányba fog elmenni a tervező a későbbiekben. A szlovák származású Nobel-díjas egyetemi tanár, Lénár Fülöp ihlette amire én nagyon kíváncsi lennék hogyan.

We simply loved this collection. It absolutely shows, what direction the designer will continue her work. She was inspired by  Philipp Lenard, a university teacher who won a  Nobel-prize too. I’d be sooo curious how this Slovak man inspired her.

10. Bártfai Lilla

Ez volt a másik nagy kedvencem, nekem a Jégvarázs jutott róla eszembe :)) de egyébként ezek népi motívumok a ‘jövő technikájával’ ötvözve.

These headdresss reminded my of ‘Frozen’ the Disney movie :)) it was an interesting way how she combined the folklore patterns with ‘future technology’.

11. Domi Grzybek

Ő is hatalmas díjat nyert. Ez nagyon nem az én stílusom, elég messze áll tőlem, de a tervező egyéniségét abszolút átadják a ruhák.

This collection was the third winner. It stands really far from my style but it absolutely reflects the designer’s personality.

12. Noori Samea

Őt a prágai színes kaupik ihlették, amiknek elég jól sikerült átadni a hangulatát szerintem. Bár nekem ez is túl színes, én például a középső pulcsit királykék helyett biztos feketére terveztem volna és az ujja sem buggyos lenne továbbá csőfarmerrel hordanám de mást nem változtatnék.

She was inspired by the colorful doors of Prague and I think she gave the feeling of the city through the dresses. Another point that if it’d be my collection I’d make the main sweater black with simple long sleeves and I’d wear it with skinny jeans.

Yesterday I went to the Central European Fashion Days with my best friend, Lena. We got a little bit stuck with our tickets, because I ordered the tickets online a few weeks ago, but I deleted the confirmation e-mail by mistake. Luckily Lena’s mum found out, that if you bring the credit card, which you used when you payed, you’ll get the tickets. So finally we got inside. This year the news in the fashion show was, that not only Hungarian designers, but designers from Poland, Slovakia and from the Czech Republic joined in the competition. But wait. This was the 3rd tour. Let’s start at the begining!  The first tour was the alumni tour, where 9 Hungarian designers showed their s/s 2013 collections. 

Elsőként BÁLINT SÁRA tervező modelljeit láthattuk a kifutón pasztell színekben, gyakran átmenettel. Abszolút mindennapi, ám különleges és hordható ruhák.

First, Sarah Balint introduced her collection. I would describe the collection with pastel colours. Everyday style, but still special and elegant.

Az ERLEN kollekcióját hadseregszerűen mutatták be, egyébként a későbbiekben még lesz ilyen kompozíció. De térjünk a ruhákra. A második képen a bal szélső modell ruháját emelem ki, mivel szerintem teljesen úgy néz ki mint egy tornadressz. Ez egyébként lehet, csupán nekem jut róla eszembe. Mindegy, szerintem ettől függetlenül szép, csak én nem egy kifutón képzelem el magassarkúval, hanem egy olimpiai tornaszőnyegen spicc cipővel.

The ERLEN collection was like some kind of an army with stylish soldiers. I would highlight the dress on the second pictures’s left side. I think it looks like a gymnastic leotard. It looks cool, but not with highheels on a runway, but with pointee shoes on a gymnastics mat.

A GHOSTMIND tervezője, egy díszes csillárból inspirálódhatott, legalábbis ez látszik a ruhákon. Nagyon tetszett, hogy ugyanazokat a ruhadarabokat nagyon kevés átalakítással elkészítette nőkre és férfiakra is. Érdekes megoldás, viszont nekem ugyanaz a ruhadarab csak nőn tetszett.

GHOSTMIND’s designer inspired by an ornate chandelier. I like the whole collection and it’s funny seeing the same outfit on a man and on a woman. I only liked woman version.

Egyenes vonalak és türkiz, sárga és fekete-fehér színek jellemzik az INER kollekcióját. Nekem összességében tetszett a kollekció, de nem is tudom, mit mondjak róla. Mondjuk különösebb élményt nem nyújtott számomra. Már nem is nagyon emlékszem rá.

I would describe INER’s collection with straight lines and bright colors. I like the collection, I don’t know what else should I say. It’s not my favourite, but it’s OK.

A KELE CLOTHING nagyrészt férfiakra tervezett ruhákat, vagy csak nekem sikerültek jobb képek a férfi outfitekről… Mindenesetre nagyon színes, mintákkal teli és legfőképp nyárias kollekciót láthattunk.  A harmadik képen viselt virágmintás ruha személyes kedvencem.

KELE CLOTHING mostly designed clothes for men or just I took better photos of men. :)  We saw a colorful, airy collection with lots of patterns. My favourite item is the flower printed dress from the 3rd picture.

Vigyázat, a KOMOD hadserege támadásra készen áll! A pink, fehér illetve sötétkék katonáktól nem hiszem, hogy bárki is igazán megijedne, inkább csak csodálni tudná őket. A ruhák tényleg hadseregszerűen harmonizálnak és kivétel nélkül bármelyiket elfogadnám…

Attention, KOMOD’s army’s going to attack! The pink, white and dark blue soldiers are very beautiful and breathtaking. The collection is in harmony. I would choose any of these dresses…

SÖPTEI ESZTER kék katonái is gyönyörűek voltak. Itt is elmondhatjuk, hogy ez egy kollekció, akarom mondani hadsereg, éppen csak egy pici változás van a sok átlátszó sötétkék ing között.

ESZTER SOPTEI’s army was beautiful too. The dark blue transparent blouses were very nice.

A THE FOUR nagy csalódás volt számomra, mivel szinte biztos voltam benne, hogy a tervezőcsoport négy főből áll. Igazából csak hárman dolgoznak a kollekciókon, de csak ketten mutatták meg magukat a divatbemutatón. Végül sikerült túllépnem ezen a megrázkódtatáson és a ruhákra fókuszálni. A hatodik képen olyan hogy is mondjam… szóval olyan mintha a felső fűből lenne. Egyébként a kollekcióban több patchwork mintás darabot is felfedeztem, mint például a negyedik képen.

THE FOUR was a really big disappointment for me, because I thought that the designer group is 4 people, but not! They are three and only 2 of them introduced themselves on the show! After this big trauma I could focus on the dresses. On the 6th picture the top looks like the material is grass!

Ezúttal a márkanév nem hozott csalódást, sőt legalább elárulta, hogy mire kell majd odafigyelnünk. (Bár azért szerintem ez amúgy is feltűnt volna.) A ZAKO tervezői érdekes zakókat hoztak. Hmm… milyen meglepő… Nekem a negyedik képen látható outfit a kedvencem, mert az olyan szafaris. Viszont ebben a kollekcióban nem tudtam semmi hasonlóságot észrevenni a darabok között, hacsak azt nem, hogy ugye zakók voltak mind. Akár ezek 5 kollekció összemixelt darabjai is lehetnének szerintem.

This time I didn’t get a trauma from the brand name, because we got what we expected. Jackets from ZAKO (zako in Hungarian means smart jacket). My favourite is the jacket on the 4th picture. It looks like a safari one. The pieces of the collection aren’t in harmony, they look like they are mixed from like 5 different collections.

Végre a bemutatók után kirakhatom a kulisszák mögött készült képeket is! Ezt a bejegyzést legalább annyira vártam már, mint a Fashion Show-n, hogy bemehessek a backstage-be.  A legmeghökkentőbbnek azt találtam, hogy milyen mások a modellek a kifutó mögött. Ezt elsősorban nem úgy értem, hogy ott designer ruhákban meg magassarkú cipőben vannak, itt meg tréningnadrágban meg mamuszban, hanem, hogy a backstage-ben sokkal felszabadultabbak voltak – ami persze teljesen érthető, mert a kifutón azt kell csinálniuk amit mondanak, legtöbbször rezzenéstelen arccal végigjárni. Ha nekem valaha lesz egy divatbemutatóm, azon a modelleknek biztosan azt mondom, hogy úgy járkáljanak mint ahogy azt az utcán tennék – boldogan és mosolyogva.

Finally here come the photos from the backstage! I was looking forward to sharing my experiences as much as actually going to the backstage. What I found the most interesting was that the models were so different on the runway than backstage. I mean not only their clothing (of course that’s different too), but here they were much more liberated – which I can totally understand. I think it’s hard to walk on the runway in high heels with an impassive face. If I will once have a fashion show, I will tell my models to walk like they would on the street with a natural smile on their face.

A tegnapi napom tiszta rohanás volt, de tele élménnyel. Délelőtt rg versenyen voltam, utána pedig elmentünk az ELLE Fashion Show-ra. Életemben először voltam divatbemutatón és szerencsém volt mivel rögtön hármat is láthattam, amiket végigfotóztam . Összesen 433 (!!!) kép készült, ami elég sok, ezért úgy döntöttem 4 részletben rakom ki őket. Külön-külön a három bemutatót, ééés a legvégén pedig kulisszák mögött készült képeket. Nagyon örültem, hogy két tour között beszélgethettem a modellekkel, akiket furcsa volt látni melegítőnadrágban almát eszegetve. Na mindegy, erről részletesen később számolok be, most térjünk vissza a mai bejegyzéshez. Első körben, a “Divat mindenkié” tour-on magyar tervezők mutatták be Párizs ihlette ruháikat fogyatékos modellek közreműködésével.

Yesterday I had a very busy day: in the morning my rhythmic gymnastics competition and then the ELLE Fashin Show in the afternoon. This was my first ever fashion show and I think I’m very lucky, because I saw three tours in one show. I took 433 (!!!) photos and the best ones I will share in the 4 coming posts: 3 posts for the 3 tours aaaand the last one will be a report from the backstage! It was really weird to see the models in jogging trousers eating apples. But let’s go back to today’s post. The first tour titled “Fashion is for everyone” was Hungarian  designers’ collections inspired by Paris, with models with disabilities.

Elsőként Király Tamás rózsás kollekcióját láthattuk. A backstage-ben mesélte, hogy ruháival a szeretetet akarta kifejezni, mivel neki erről a rózsák jutnak eszébe. Szerintem ez tökéletesen átjött.

First, Tamas Kiraly introduced his collection. As he desicribed it to me in the backstage he wanted to express love with his rosie designs. I think this totally came across in the show.

A következő kollekciót Manier Németh Anikó tervezte.   /   This collection is made by Manier, Aniko Nemeth.

Sziráczky Brigitta bemutatott vidám,élénk, tavasztündérhez hasonlító ruhákat és pasztell, bézses árnyalatú darabokat is.    /   Brigitta Sziraczky brought joyful, bright, springfairies and pastel, beige pieces too.

Daalarna ruháiban az tetszett a legjobban, hogy amikor a modell a kifutó végéhez ért és megfordult, még mindig érdemes volt nézni, mivel olyan hátmegoldásokat láthattunk amilyeneket szemből nem is sejtettünk.

Daalarna’s outfits I loved because when the models turned around at the end of the runway, it was still worth watching them for the super interesting backs that we didn’t expect from the front.

Elysian tervezői elhozták Indiát. Letisztult szabásvonalak és keleti színvilág.    /     The designers of Elysian brought us India with clear cuts and oriental colours.

Katti Zoób több kollekciót is felvonultatott.    /     Katti Zoób intoduced four collections.
