New Yorkot az “Álmok Városaként”, de a soha nem alvó városként is szokták emlegetni. New York tipikusan az ‘urban chic’ (≈városi stílus) városa, ahol egyszerre van jelen a ‘high fashion’ vonulat és a jellegzetes egyedi utcai divat is. Azért választottam ezt a sapkát a Fanatics oldaláról, mert az a szempont eleve kiesett , hogy én melyik csapatnak szurkolok, egyáltalán nem nézek baseballt sőt semmilyen sportot, max az Olimpiát néha tekintve hogy ha az van, nem tudod elkerülni, hogy ne nézd. Szóval inkább a városok alapján választottam, úgy meg egyértelműen New York. Ebben a sapiban a kis csillámokkal benne van a high fashion csillogása, de a tipikus street style lazasága és variálhatósága is. A pulcsira is most akadtam rá, amin Marilyn Monroe van egy lufival és rögtön megtetszett… És hogy kicsit kevésbé legyen sportos a szett, egy magas derekú, bőr hatású szoknyát választottam hozzá.

New York is often called ‘the City of Dreams’ or ‘The City That Never Sleeps’. New York is also the city of urban chic. In this big city you can find the high fashion houses next to the unique street style bloggers. So basically you have everything in NYC. That’s why I chose this beanie from the selection of MLB hats on Fanatics. I couldn’t choose by the team I like, because honestly, I don’t really watch baseball nor any sport events. Only the Olympics, but at Olympics-time you simply can’t avoid watching it. So I chose by the cities – and thus clearly New York was my choice. On this hat there are a few glitters, that show the bright and luxury part of NYC but the shape of the hat and the possiblility to wear it in many ways and styles reminds me of the street style pople of the city. This jacket is my other favorite, with the Marilyn Monroe portrait. To make it less sporty, I combined it with a high waisted leather skirt and a pink crop top.

Ez az a szoknya amit még az augusztusi tanfolyamon varrtam, kicsit elegánsabb, téliesebb darab. Nem volt különösen nehéz az elkészítése, de a derék részén sokat lehetett tanulni. Amikor kiválasztottam a következő outfithez felpróbáltam hozzá a pöttyös pólómat, de még mindig kicsit komornak, öregesebbnek éreztem az összhatást pedig akkor már a bakancs is rajtam volt. Gondoltam nem baj, kell ilyen is, kicsit kilépni a komfortzónámból. Amikor indultunk, megláttam az előszobában a farmer dzsekimet és éreztem, hogy ez még muszáj lesz hozzá. Így abszolút más stílusa lett az outfitnek, sokkal jobban érzem az enyémnek.

This skirt is a pretty elegant one which I have sewn on the sewing course back in August. It wasn’t the hardest piece I’ve ever done, but the waist part taught me many small techniques. When I chose this skirt for the next outfit, first I tried it on with my dotted blouse and bootes but it looked too classy, made me look older. I couldn’t feel it mine. Then I thought okay, maybe it’s not bad if I try out different styles which are far from mine. But when I saw my ripped denim jacket hanging in the antechamber I knew that was the piece I was looking for. It totally changed the mood of this outfit and I feel more comfortable in it.

Legutoljára egy gyönyörű szép szoknyát vásároltam. Elég ritkán járok turkálóba, szerintem életemben voltam kb. 5-ször, de mindig nagyon szép ruhákat találok. Ezeket néha nagyobb kincsként lehet felfogni, mint egy olyan darabot amit az üzletben vásárolsz. A másik amit szeretek ezekben a helyekben, hogy a legtöbb ruha olyan márkájú, amihez itthon nem is lehet hozzájutni. Ez a szoknya szerintem nagyon egyedi és tavaszias. Egy rózsalugasnál fotóztuk az outfitet a Balaton parton. Bár még a virágok nem nyíltak ki, csak a szoknyán, így is nagyon szép volt. Ilyen jó időben a fagyi elmaradhatatlan kiegészítő, a képeken látszik, hogy nem csak fogtam a kezemben, és a fotózás végére majdnem teljesen megettem. Amúgy macaron és New York epres-sajttorta ízű volt.

I bought my last purchase in a second-hand shop. I don’t usually go to second-hand shops, but I still really like these places because you can find unique and beautiful pieces from brands that you can’t find in Hungary. Some clothes are real treasures for me and you won’t see anybody walking on the streets in the same clothes you bought in a second-hand shop. I think this skirt is very girly and perfect for spring. We took these photos at Lake Balaton in front of a rose arbor. True, the roses haven’t opened yet (only on my skirt) but the landscape was sooo nice. Ice cream is indispensable summer accessory and I don’t mean that only holding it in your hands… You can see in the pictures that the ice cream is less and less on each. It was a yummie macaron + New York strawberry cheesecake flavored one.

♥ Mother&Daughter: avagy az anya-lánya bejegyzés. Nagyon élveztem ennek a fotózását, egyébként karácsonykor is mindig a közös piros ruha volt rajtunk. :) / I really enjoyed this photo shooting. On Christmas eve, we were wearing this same red dress.

♥ Made by me: skirt with dog paws: meglepődtem, mikor a statisztikákat nézve ezt is kiadta a top 5-ben, mivel szerintem a cím sem olyan frappáns meg az outfit sem olyan különleges. Attól eltekintve persze, hogy ezt a szoknyát én varrtam. :) / I was surprised, when I saw this post in the top 5. The title is not so eye catching and the outfit is not so interesting too. Besides that the skirt is sewn by me.

♥ Success and Chocolate: ez is meglepő volt számomra, bár itt már mondhatni “kreatív”, figyelemfelkeltő cím volt, viszont nem a divatról írtam, hanem egy másik habbimról a ritmikus gimnasztikáról, illetve a csokiról amit szintén imádok. Nem meglepő Csoki kutya elnevezése. .) / I was surprised by this post too, because it’s not connected to fashion, but I was writing about my other hobbies, rhythmic gymnastics and chocolate.

♥ “A divat mindenkié!” ELLE Fashion Show: ez a egyik kedvenc bejegyzésem. Ez a divatbemutató volt életemben az első amit láttam, örök emlék. / this is one of my fav posts too, because this was my first fashion show.

♥ End of school chic: ez is egy nagyon emlékezetes nap volt számomra, tele nagyszerű élményekkel. Helmut Newton kiállítás, ebéd a ligetben és rózsafagyi a Bazilikánál. / this was a very good day, the last school day, with full of great memories. Helmut Newton exhibition, delicious lunch and a rose shaped ice-cream.

Elkezdtem (még régebben) egy felsőt varrni, ami terveim szerinte majd így fog kinézni. Már alig várom, hogy kész legyen, csak most épp szerelőnél van a varrógépem, de remélem hamar visszakapom. Karácsonyra mindenképp be szeretném fejezni. Direkt egy ilyen fura, nem méretarányos fejet ragasztottam a rajzokra, mivel egyrészt nem akartam elrontani az egész divattervet egy rossz fejjel, a másik ok pedig hogy megtetszett ez a modell. Kétféle outfitet is rajzoltam ehhez a felsőhöz, aminek egyébként az ujja kicsit átlátszó meg a nyakrésze is. Az egyiken kicsit lányosabb ruhákkal, skater skirt-tel és térdzoknival kombináltam, a másikon pedig csak sima farmerrel. Hamarosan remélem már a kész darabot is megmutathatom nektek!

Currently I’m sewing this blouse, but it’s not finished yet. I’m very excited how it’ll be look, and I hope you like this illustration. I had to pause sewing for this week because my sewing machine is at the mechanic, but I hope I’ll get it back this week and I can finish this piece until Christmas. I stuck large model faces on my Fashionary sketches, because I think this collage technique is really interesting… I drew two outfits with this blouse, a girly one with a pink and purple skater skirt and a simple one with jeans. And the finished blouse made by me is coming soon!

Jane By Design

A hétvégén online megnéztem legalább 5 “Jane By Design” epizódot, ezzel be is fejeztem ezt az évadot és sajnos egyenlőre nem is terveznek újat forgatni. Nekem nagyon tetszett az egész sorozat, bár szerintem kíván folytatást, mert egyáltalán nincs befejezve. Igazából teljesen olyan mint “Az Ördög Prádát visel”, csak itt egy kiváló stílusérzékű iskolás lány (Jane) kerül egy divatmárkához (ez esetben nem magazinhoz) ahol elkezdi a karrierjét. Van persze egy főnök, aki rendkívül szigorú és figyelmes. Mindeközben persze Jane varr, mindenféle kalandba keveredik és egyszerre jár iskolába és dolgozik (ahol úgy tudják hogy felnőtt). Egyébként nekem nagyon tetszik a stílusa is, a 18 részben kb. 2 alkalommal viselt nadrágot, amúgy mindig szoknyát hord széles övvel. Ezt továbbgondolva terveztem néhány ruhát az ő stílusával, amit ő inspirált.

At the weekend I watched 5 “Jane By Design” episodes from the first season, but I am very sad, that ABC will not continue this series. Anyway, I love it, it’s full of humor, adventures, love and beautiful dresses. It’s really “The Devil wears Prada”‘s teen version, where Jane starts her carrier at a high fashion company, but she is still in high school – but they don’t know this. She is sewing too and ALWAYS wearing a skirt. I really like her style so I got inspired and designed clothes in her style.

Bármennyire is varázslatos, én sem hiszem el igazán – mivel edzéseken még sima copfból is folyton kicsúszik a hajam – de ezt a kontyot már a rövid hajamból csináltam! Ezt a szoknyát én varrtam még régebben. Már írtam is róla egy bejegyzést (ITT megnézheted) amiben egy maradék anyagdarabot szintén a hajamba kötöttem. A szoknyát egy mintás pólóval kombináltam és a hajammal meg a kiegészítőkkel is megpróbáltam minél jobban a pólómon lévő lányra hasonlítani.

I still can’t believe it, but I did this top hair bun from my new short hair! I already posted an outfit with horses (you can see it HERE) where I wore this self-sewn skirt. I tied an unused piece of this material in my hair in both outfits, but in a very different way! I combined this skirt with a printed t-shirt. Then I tried to look like the girl on my t-shirt with my hair and the accessories.

End of school chic

Vége a sulinak! Annyira vártam már a nyarat! Annyi program, annyi élmény, annyi látnivaló! Huhh, szóval tegnap volt az évzáró (egyébként kiváló lettem hihihi), utána pedig egy nap “csajos napot” rendeztünk Anyukámmal. Először is megnéztük Helmut Newton divatfotós kiállítását a Szépművészeti Múzeumban, majd a Vajdahunyad várnál ebédeltünk végül pedig elmentünk a Bazilikához rózsa alakú fagyit enni. Én eper-bodza, rebarbara, levendula kombinációt ettem, Anya pedig chilis csokoládé, sós tejkaramellásat. Nagyon finom volt! Ja, és hogy az outfitről is legyen szó, annyit tudok, hogy a szoknya Olaszországból van, a blúz Zara, a szandál pedig úgyszintén. Jó nyarat és sok pihenést mindenkinek!

It’s the end of school! I was sooo looking forward to summer! So many programs, so beautiful places and so much fun! So, yesturday was the last day of school and we have got our certificates too (I’ve got all A+ ). After this we had a very good “girly day” with my mum. First we went to see Helmut Newton’s fashion photo gallery, than we had lunch and a rose shaped ice cream at the Basilica. Yummy! Mine was strawberry-elder, rhubarb and lavender flavored and mum’s was chili chocolate and salty caramel flavored. After all I should say something about my outfit (only because this is a fashion blog ). My blouse is from Zara, my skirt is from somewhere from Italy, and my sandals are from Zara too. Have a great summer!

Ezt a szoknyát a hétvégén varrtam!!! Még egy régebbi bejegyzésben említettem, hogy divatos az állatminta, de nem a párduc meg ezek, hanem az “egész állatos” ruhák. Nemrég láttam a Debenhams-ban egy hasonlóan tappancs mintás leggings-t, csak sajnos nem volt a méretemben, ezért vettünk egy nagyon aranyos tappancsos szürke anyagot, és a hétvégén abból varrtam ezt a ruhadarabot.

I sewed this skirt at the weekend! I metioned before thet the animal printed clothes are in trend. I saw a very cute paw-printed leggings in Debenhams. but I couldn’t find one in my size, so at the weekend we bought this dog paws printed material and out of that I sewed this skirt!

Rojtos szoknya divatterv

A Marie Claire-ben találtam rá erre a H&M-es piros rojtos szoknyára. / I found this red fringed skirt from H&M in Marie Claire magazine.

Nagyon megtetszett ezért rajzoltam egy divattervet vele. Kicsit átalakítottam, meghosszabbítottam és kiegészítettem egy széles övvel, egy farmeringgel, egy fejpánttal és egy tavaszi cipővel. Ismét a modellt is én rajzoltam. Igazából inkább rövidebben venném fel a szoknyát, csak ehhez a hosszú lábú modellhez ez jobban illett…

I really liked it so I drew this outfit. I changed the length of the skirt and added new things like the denim shirt, a wide belt a headband and spring shoes. I drew the modell too. I would personally wear the skirt in the original length, but on this modell it looks better with my design.
