This skirt is a pretty elegant one which I have sewn on the sewing course back in August. It wasn’t the hardest piece I’ve ever done, but the waist part taught me many small techniques. When I chose this skirt for the next outfit, first I tried it on with my dotted blouse and bootes but it looked too classy, made me look older. I couldn’t feel it mine. Then I thought okay, maybe it’s not bad if I try out different styles which are far from mine. But when I saw my ripped denim jacket hanging in the antechamber I knew that was the piece I was looking for. It totally changed the mood of this outfit and I feel more comfortable in it.

After the DIY post I’ll show you how I combined this made by me t-shirt with my other clothes. I was searching for a rundown ruined place where we can take these pictures so I chose Hajógyári-sziget. This is a festival outfit too, just like this one. Some comfortable sandals and a hat these are the basics for summer.

Today is the International Macaron Day! And tomorrow will be the first day of spring! What an excellent coincidence! Today you should definitely eat macaron. You can buy macarons in many place. In Budapest the largest selection is in the fancy hotel, Kempinski. I’ve made a macaron necklace for this day (and for others too ) There’s a little Eiffel tower on the necklace too, which I’ve bought on the creative market.

♥ Mother&Daughter: avagy az anya-lánya bejegyzés. Nagyon élveztem ennek a fotózását, egyébként karácsonykor is mindig a közös piros ruha volt rajtunk. :)   /   I really enjoyed this photo shooting. On Christmas eve, we were wearing this same red dress.

♥ Made by me: skirt with dog paws: meglepődtem, mikor a statisztikákat nézve ezt is kiadta a top 5-ben, mivel szerintem a cím sem olyan frappáns meg az outfit sem olyan különleges. Attól eltekintve persze, hogy ezt a szoknyát én varrtam. :)  /  I was surprised, when I saw this post in the top 5. The title is not so eye catching and the outfit is not so interesting too. Besides that the skirt is sewn by me.

♥ Success and Chocolate: ez is meglepő volt számomra, bár itt már mondhatni “kreatív”, figyelemfelkeltő cím volt, viszont nem a divatról írtam, hanem egy másik habbimról a ritmikus gimnasztikáról, illetve a csokiról amit szintén imádok. Nem meglepő Csoki kutya elnevezése. .)  /  I was surprised by this post too, because it’s not connected to fashion, but I was writing about my other hobbies, rhythmic gymnastics and chocolate.

♥ “A divat mindenkié!” ELLE Fashion Show: ez a egyik kedvenc bejegyzésem. Ez a divatbemutató volt életemben az első amit láttam, örök emlék.  /  this is one of my fav posts too, because this was my first fashion show.

♥ End of school chic: ez is egy nagyon emlékezetes nap volt számomra, tele nagyszerű élményekkel. Helmut Newton kiállítás, ebéd a ligetben és rózsafagyi a Bazilikánál.  /  this was a very good day, the last school day, with full of great memories. Helmut Newton exhibition, delicious lunch and a rose shaped ice-cream.

So, first I just wanted to say thanks to all of you, I had a great day! I’ve got many presents – nail polish, cute mug, badges, pens and all the handmade surprises. Back to today’s post: Here is the 2nd Diamond DIY idea. This is a really uniqe necklace made from leather like the other one. Amire szükséged lesz / What you’ll need:

♥ egy darabka vastagabb bőr / a piece of leather

♥ cellux,olló,vonalzó,ceruza / scotch tape, scissors, ruler, pencil

♥ arany és ezüst festék, ecset / gold and silver paint, brush

♥ kis fémkarikák, lánc vagy bőrszíj / small metal rings, chain or leather strap

♥ dróthajlító / wire bending

A nice collar necklace is pretty expensive, but if you make it yourself than it’s more individual too. I saw a lot of DIY posts of collar necklaces, but everyone just made them of paper. I think one made of leather is much  nicer, so I went to a leather trading company and they gave me two bags full of leather pieces for less than 2 €. I made different kinds of accessories of the leather pieces e.g. two kinds of necklaces for my “Diamond” collection, but the other one I’ll only show you in the next post. If you decorate the collar with rhinestones it’ll be even more sparkling. I hope I gave you a useful DIY idea!

Ezekre lesz szükséged/What you’ll need:

♥ egy gallér minta (rajzolhatod is vagy ki is nyomtathatod) / a Peter Pan collar pattern (you can either draw it or print one out)

♥ egy megfelelő méretű bőrdarab / a piece of leather

♥ olló vagy sniccer / scissors or cutter knife

♥ strasszkövek és ragasztó, ha a strasszos verziót választod / rhinestones and glue, if you’d like to do this version

♥ arany vagy ezüst toll, a rajzolós verzióhoz / gold or silver pen for the the drawing version

I still can’t believe it, but I did this top hair bun from my new short hair! I already posted an outfit with horses (you can see it HERE) where I wore this self-sewn skirt. I tied an unused piece of this material in my hair in both outfits, but in a very different way! I combined this skirt with a printed t-shirt. Then I tried to look like the girl on my t-shirt with my hair and the accessories.

. A háttér kicsit érdekesebb, mivel egy lovastanyára mentünk fényképezkedni. Sikerült magamhoz csalogatni a lovakat, úgyhogy nagyon jó képek készültek.

I sewed this cute dotted skirt on the weekend. The cut is the same as the dog paw printed one. We went to a horse ranch and we took the photos there. The horses came close to me so we took really goo pictures.

Terveztem egy 5 részből álló kis kollekciót, amit szépen sorjában ki fogok pakolászni ide. A kollekciómban (milyen jól hangzik ) narancssárga és vörös színeket használtam, és az egészet olyan könnyednek jellemezném. Egy vörös horgolt hálószerű dolog jelenik meg mindegyik darabban. Minden modellt lerajzoltam elölről is meg hátulról is. A háló alatt is van a narancssárga anyagból. A lány hátán van egy vörös csík, ott lenne a cipzár. A cipőt is kicsit a hálóminta köré építettem és telitalpat rajzoltam, ami idén nagy divat.

I designed a mini collection which has got 5 pieces. In my collection (this sounds really good ) I used red and orange colours. I would say this whole collection is very airy. There’s a red crochet net in every piece. On this model there is an orange material even under the net part. On the girl’s back there’s a red line. I imagined a zipper there. Even on the platform shoes I used this net pattern.

I’ve got a Fashionary, which is a notebook especially made for designers. I also use it for my scetches. I love it because it has got many models, fashion events, patterns and more. I found this super talented guy,  Danny Roberts on Fashionary’s online blog. He made these collages (?). I like this technique so much that I decided to try it.

Íme az én alkotásaim/These are my creations:

• Az elsőnél, “kisminkeltem” a modellt, meghosszabbítottam a haját, kiegészítőt adtam rá, és a ruháját is “átdizájnoltam”. A szívecskés háttérrel kicsit “Szívkirálynősre” sikeredett.
• I made a make-up for this model, I extended her hair, gave her accessories and I redesigned her dress a little bit too. With this background it looks like the Heart Queen.

• Ez a modell eredetileg egy fekete-fehér csíkos kosztümöt viselt. A blézerét meghagytam csíkosra, csupán átszínezem, viszont a nadrágjára apró narancssárga virágokat nyomdáztam. A pólója eleve így volt, de máig nem sikerült megfejtenem mi van ráírva.
• Originally this model was wearing a black and white striped suit. I kept the blazer, only coloured it, but I made some small flower prints on the pants. The T-shirt is the same as it was originally. I still can not figure out what it says.

• Ennél a képnél  eredetileg a szoknya volt egyszínű, pontosabban magában mintás és a blúz volt csillogó kék. A szoknya mintáit kiemelve arannyal plusz kiegészítőkkel megvadítva egy kicsit szerintem elég jó lett. A háttérről nekem egy téglafal jut eszembe, ami azért érdekes, mert eléggé elüt a modelltől és szerintem az egész outfit olyan elegáns lett, viszont téglafalnál nem kiöltözve ácsorgunk.
• In this picture originally the skirt was monocrome and the blouse was filled with glitter. Well, I redesigned it very much. I added golden jewellery and a cool background wich I think looks like a brick wall. It’s interesting that the whole outfit is very elegant and it contrasts with the brick wall.
