A fekete ruhák viselése egyébként sosem lehet rossz döntés, idén télen pedig még stílusosabbnak számítanak a tetőtől-talpig fekete outfitek. Főleg olyankor jön jól ez a trend amikor reggel hulla fáradtan előkapod az alapdarabokat a szekrényből, fekete felső, kardigán, egy szakadt farmer és a fekete bakancsod. Nálam ez hétköznapokon elég gyakran előfordul, észre is vettem magamon hogy leginkább sötét darabokat, szürkét és bordót hordok.

This is a real urban outfit with skater skirt and canvas bag. We took these pictures at the Vanilin confectionery, where we stopped for macarons. They haven’t got as many and unique flavored ones like the Sugar shop but these are delicious too. On my bag you can see an extremely meaningful quote by Chewbacca, but I like it because you can imagine anything in this sentence. In this situation I think Chewbacca would say something like this: “Ahhhrrr I can’t believe I’m not getting any macarons, uhhrrr ”

Wearing black clothes is never a bad choice, especially this winter it’s super trendy to wear black from head to toe. This is a very useful trend when you just get out of bed in the morning and you pick out your basic pieces from your closet, your black tee, cardigan, ripped jeans and black boots. This happens to me almost every workday, and I already realized that my most worn colors are the shades of black, greys and burgundy.

I went for a walk with my doggie and when I saw this wall and I knew that we had to take a few pics here. I’m not into the theory that blogging is soo different than real life to wear outfits that you wouldn’t on the streets. So I haven’t gotten my clothes changed just took some photos in very casual t-shirt and jeans. BTW I won this tee on a Romwe giveaway from the Valentin’s day collection.

We bought this dress 3 years ago in Dubrovnik. Those who have ever been to this city know that the historical center is full of striped clothes. Actually you can’t buy not striped ones here. When I got this it was huge for me but now it’s perfect. This is a tipical ‘summer dress’ I only wear it for 2 weeks a year when we go to the seaside with my family. The photos were taken in Split and in the sea. In Split we climbed up to a tower and the wind was very strong. I’m never going to wear skirts or dresses on windy days in a tower. :))

Trogir is a small historical town on an island in Croatia. The old center is protected by the UNESCO and it is very beautiful. If I’d live in Croatia this is the place where I likely would. We stayed 5 nights in an apartment with a swimming pool near Trogir. We were lucky because the weather was great (aside from the small rains) so we went to the beach every day. These photos were taken on our first day in Trogir when we went to the city in the afternoon for a walk. I was wearing a white dress with the headchains made by me! The basis of it is made of 3 chains which I decorated with beads. My favorite pics are when I’m standing in a corner (this sounds weird ) illuminated by the last sunshine. Then I stood beside a motorbike to capture modern pics too. I think this motorbike offsets a bit the ‘princess’ feeling of this outfit.

I am not very creative when I have to think of a title for the posts. I used to just write down what is the post about or just add a title that’s totaly not what I’m going to write about. This outfit is actually nothing special, a simple top-shorts combination, but perfect for walking on a hot summer day. We took these photos in the Krka National Park, where we saw amazing waterfalls, which you’ve already seen in my ‘Moments from July’ post. We walked across river Krka on a tourist road and ended at the most beautiful waterfall where we swam a bit.

This dress is one of my absolut favorite summer pieces. I already showed it in a set but not on me. It brings a cool beach feeling and it’s made from a great material but I think it’s a bit too short. It’s OK for the beach on top of a bikini but if I’d wear it in the city I’d probably wear it with shorts. I tried it already but the shorts do not appear under the dress. The photos were taken in Lake Gebart, which is a super place! I was thinking of some beach accessories like a ball, but I didn’t have one at hand… so I stayed with my iPod listening to my favorit summer songs.

Head chains (just like flower crowns) are really popular this summer, for example on festivals and it’s really easy to make one. I think they bring a princess effect, but I’ve seen studded ones too, and those aren’t princessy. I really want to make one and when I will, I’ll show it!

These shorts were my Auntie’s in the 90s. It has a bermuda-cut and pastel roses. I combined it with my ‘créme de la créme’ printed crop top and my platform sneakers. These kind of shoes were popular in the 90s too and they are still very stylish in todays’ street style. I chose a necklace too, my Thomas Sabo one.

I think I will do another returning post. It will go like this: I choose a clothing piece and find some street style photos with it from all over the world. Like this one, you can see that it’s very different how they combine the same sweater in NYC or in Paris. Of course I don’t say that every person combines the same way in Paris, but it’s interesting if you look at the elegant and chic way compared with the ripped short and the necklace with legs on it. And which one do I prefer? Well… for a start I don’t really like this sweater… But it I have to choose I would choose the New York styled one.
