Tavi Gevinson online magazinjának novemberi témája a család. Lehet beküldeni konkrétan… bármit, és ha nekik megtetszik, ilyenre gondoltak kirakják. Én is kicsit belemerültem a családi stílusba, hogy hogyan változik és mi a közös a család tagjai között. És arra jutottam, hogy egyre nagyobb a hasonlóság például az anyuka és a lánya között. Ez azért van, mert ugye a szülők szeretnének fiatalosak maradni – lehetőleg minél tovább, a gyerekeik meg szeretnének rájuk hasonlítani. És valahogy ez úgy van, hogy van egy közös kupac, amibe belead mindkét fél, egy olyan kupac, amit az anyuka meg a lánya is szívesen hord (mindkettejük stílusának, ízlésének megfelel) és van mindkettejüknek egy külön kis kupaca amit a másik fél nem szívesen venne át. Én valahogy így képzelem ezt el. Persze az arányok változóak. De ha az anyuka sportosabb típus, akkor a gyereke is az, ha az anyuka folyton magassarkúban jár akkor a lánya is csajosabb.
Kerestem hasonló jellegű ruhadarabokat a gardróbjainkban és ezekből összeállítottam néhány közös outfitet. A piros ruhákat nekünk tervezték és varrták, úgyhogy az egy tipikus közös ruha.

So I decided to think and write something. My thoughts was about how style changes in the family and what’s the connection between mother and daughter’s style. So. The daughter wants to look like her mother and the parents want to stay young – as long as it’s possible. And the child wants to grow up early. So their style meets at one point and then they add something from their own, and the get something from the other’s. Of course there are some trends or clothing pieces that the other doesn’t want to copy. So if the mother’s clothes are sporty then her daughter’s style is too. If the mum always wears high heels and skirt then her daughter is girly too.
I wound describe our style as casual and creative. I looked for same pieces in me mum’s closet and I found this leopard printed blouse, the silver cardigan and the red dress. This dress was specially designed and sewn for us. It’s a typical mother-daughter dress.
